Welcome to Goodwill’s Gift Planning page. Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay, an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 1919, appreciates your interest in supporting our mission of putting people to work and helping them become self-sufficient. As you may know, our programs have been in very high demand since 2008 when the economy took a downturn, and we have continually grown our work in the community since then. Our Planned Giving Program enables you to make a legacy gift and help Goodwill continue to help those in need.
Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay accepts bequests, charitable remainder trusts, and other planned gifts. We have an active endowment, to which you can dedicate a planned gift and ensure your legacy for years to come. We also accept one-time gifts. While we cannot advise you on how to design your planned gift and encourage you to work with your estate-planner or attorney, our development staff are available to help you find the resources you need to make a gift to your community.
Your interest in learning more about our Planned Giving Program is very much appreciated, as it directly supports Goodwill’s ability to help our local community members. We value your generosity and would like to share some information on how you can create your legacy with Goodwill. You can read more about our Planned Giving Program in the FAQs document and download our Goodwill Legacy Society Form.
Thank you again for your interest in donating to Goodwill. We appreciate your support and welcome any questions you may have. Please contact our Development Department at (510) 698-7223.
