What we Accept

The sale of donations in our Goodwill Stores is the primary source of funding for our workforce development programs.

These items are very much in demand by Goodwill shoppers:

  • Clothing and shoes for men, women, and children
  • Jewelry
  • Housewares
  • Toys
  • Books
  • Small appliances in working condition
  • VCRs, radios, stereos, CD-DVD players
  • Cell phones, and car phones that are all in working condition
  • TVs and CRT monitors – working or not
  • Pianos & organs
  • Donate your car, truck, RV or boat

Some items we must say “No, thank you” to are:

  • Microwaves, chemicals, oils, toxic materials, and pesticides
  • Infant car seats, cribs, mattresses, box springs, and bed pillows
  • Batteries and fluorescent light bulbs
  • Unwanted medications and sharps
  • Waterbeds and hide-a-beds
  • All automotive products (including air and oil filters, seats, and tires)
  • All building materials (including drywall, bricks, and insulation)
  • Bicycle parts
  • Venetian blinds or shutters
  • Food items and magazines
  • Gas powered yard tools
  • Non-working electrical equipment
  • Weapons
